Board elections at AVK – continuity and fresh impetus for the future. At our general meeting on November 11, 2025, the board of the AVK – Industrievereinigung Verstärkte Kunststoffe was elected on a rotating basis. We are pleased that Dr. Michael Effing (AMAC GmbH) as chairman, Dirk Punke (BÜFA) as deputy chairman and Jens Ridzewski, Prof. Dr.-Ing. (Applus+IMA) as treasurer were unanimously re-elected. We welcome Nicole Stoess (Polynt) and Ralph Breiltgens (Kunststoffverarbeitung Reich) to the board – welcome to the team! A big thank you goes to Gerhard Lettl (C. F. Maier) and Michael Polotzki (Menzolit), who are retiring. For their many years of commitment to board work, the management of working groups and seminars as well as the Innovation Award jury, they were awarded the new AVK Volunteer Award. We are looking forward to the nex 3 years together!
