Excellence Initiative: Network between Research and Industry

The Excellence Initiative of the German Government creates new University Institutes and clusters to promote world class research as well as close interaction and cooperation with Industry. AMAC advises and supports both sides in creating networks.
Since 2012, AMAC has been supporting Aachen´s Technological University RWTH in creating the new institute and cluster for light weight structures in advanced materials - the “Aachen Center for Integrative Lightweight Production Technology” (AZL).
